I really enjoyed shooting this mini-photo session with Zoe. She was in town for the weekend from Washington D.C. and needed some photos for her Miss Caribbean United States Pageant the following month. The direction we wanted to go with her look was elegance and class and she mastered both of those very well. When she’s not competing in pageants, she is a licensed attorney and is currently a Congressional Black Caucus Foundation Fellow on Capitol Hill where she focuses on Energy and Environmental Policy.
Update: Zoe did go on to win the Miss Caribbean United States Pageant in March 2017 and will be competing in the Jaycee’s International Queen Show in July, representing the United States
