Recently I accompanied Miss Caribbean United States 2017 Queen Zoe Cadore as she celebrated her homecoming at the Houston Caribbean Festival “Carnival In The Park”. Earlier in the year, I took the pageant photos that she used for the contest as she represented Texas in the competition. Of course due to my photos she won… no, but seriously, she is the first Houstonian to compete and win the title of Miss Caribbean Unite States. She will be representing the United States in the Jaycees International Queen Show on July 30th.
As for the parade, this was my first time going to it. Held at Tom Bass Park in south Houston, we walked a little over a mile from to the amphitheater where the festivities continued (Queens get special treatment!).
