Two summers ago I got a call from Nick about a graduation photo session for his fiancée Kesha and afterwards taking photos of both of them as a portrait session. This was the first time I attempted to do something like this so it took some careful planning. So early in the morning on the campus of A&M I met up with Kesha for a brief session around our Alumni Center.
I knew Nick from my time at A&M when were both there at the same time, but this was my first time meeting Kesha, who was also graduating from A&M. In our conversation during the session I found out that she was a Marine. Nick was in the Air Force so this was the first military couple I’ve ever taken photos of.
We started part two of the session inside the newly renovated Alumni Center and later moved to the George Bush Library on the western most part of campus.
Earlier this month was Veterans Day and I thought it would be great to honor this couple for their service and sacrifice. So once again, thanks for all you do Nick & Kesha.
